Lung health does not get the funding it deserves. We rely on donations to provide the vital programs and services that help improve lung health in NS & PEI.
COLLECTING
DONATIONS.
To participate, each Stair Hero pays a registration fee of $30 ($25 early bird). Registration includes: a participation medal, a swag bag, light refreshments, and family entertainment. All participants are encouraged to collect $200 (minimum) in pledges to help the 1 in 5 Nova Scotians and Islanders affected by lung disease. Below are instructions and useful tips to collect donations.
The top 3 fundraisers will receive prizes for their efforts to help improve lung health!

1st place fundraiser - $1000 travel voucher

Every registered Stair Hero and team gets a personalized fundraising web page.

Your unique web page can be personalized with photos and a special message from you.

You can forward your network the web address (URL) linking to your fundraising page, and promote on your social media.

Your contacts can easily search, find your web page and donate online.

Everyone who makes a donation will be sent an email thank-you and PDF tax receipt.

To make a credit card donation by phone call LungNSPEI toll-free at 1.800.566.5864. Tax receipts are emailed to donors once credit card donations are processed.

Please mail all cheque donations together with a Donation Record Form (for tax receipting purposes) to:

*Alternatively, you may also turn in your cheques or cash in person at the office, or at the event registration table.

Please submit cash donations in person at the office or by cheque (for total cash amount). DO NOT MAIL IN CASH. If a tax receipt is required, submit the donation with a Donation Record Form.
**Please NOTE: We can accept cash, credit or cheque donations the day-of the event, which can contribute to your fundraising total.
FUNDRAISING
IDEAS.
Consider the following if you intend to organize your own fundraiser:

We are happy to provide an official letter of endorsement to help you recruit local sponsors and support.

We cannot issue tax receipts for gifts in kind, tickets, raffles, draws or auction items etc.

Please ensure if want to organize a raffle or another gaming activity you apply for a license from Nova Scotia Gaming Control & Registration or in PEI, the Department of Justice and Public Safety.
