COVID-19 Protocols

Safety Protocols

The Lung Association of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island takes COVID-19 very seriously and will be following safety guidelines provided by the Government of Nova Scotia published in the March 21, 2022 “Safety Guideline for Event Organizers, Venue and Facilities”.

Your safety is our top priority. COVID-19 is a respiratory virus and protecting our lung health is more important than ever before.

Please read the below information carefully:

  • If you are sick, please stay home. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please get tested and follow all guidelines and recommendations.

  • We strongly encourage all participants to wear a three-layer mask. Masks will also be available at the registration desk when you arrive.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available in all high traffic areas and upon entry and exit of the event.

  • High touch areas will be sanitized as often as possible.

  • Scotia Square Mall provides ample space for this event, please social distance (6 ft apart) whenever you can.

  • All provided snacks will be individually packaged.

Event Cancellation Policy

Should COVID-19 become an issue in hosting a safe event the Lung Association of NS & PEI Board of Directors may cancel the event at their discretion and/or may have to cancel the event if restrictions are put in place by the Government of Nova Scotia.

You may opt to have your registration fee refunded by contacting tracywhite@lungnspei.ca
